Artist Biography
Born in Harare in 1978,he began sculpting in 1998 as an assistant to Jerald Takawira in the Ruwa area of Harare.In 2000, Philip moved to Hatfield with his mentor andset up a studio.Philip continued to work alongside his teacher.Over the years, he developed his own unique style that is accepted in the art community.
His works attract the attention of art collectors from all over the world, especially in Europe, China and America.
Focusing on high values such as human relations, love, and passion, the artist draws attention to the high value that a life built together will add to people and the high quality it will add to lives. The work titled Together Forever is a totem of these values.
