One of the world's largest and most diverse stone reserves is located in Zimbabwe. Shona art, an art movement born from this diversity, takes its name from the Shona tribe and has a history of 1000 years.
According to Shona tribes' belief; The spirits of ancestors and gods continue to live in stones. Artists reveal these spirits when they carve the creatures.

Artist Biography:
He was born in 1976 in Harare, Zimbabwe. Sculpting was a legacy from his grandfather. He started making sculptures in his childhood homes. Later, he participated in various branches of art, still developing in modern human forms.
Cannon and Peterson gained a better reputation and exposure through their art group, and their works have been collected by many collectors from around the world.
The PERSON series focuses on one of the most important subjects of life, the human being. It draws attention to the structure and bringing together of human units, on thinking and questioning.
