One of the world's largest and most diverse stone reserves is found in Zimbabwe. Shona art, an art movement born from this diversity, takes its name from the Shona tribe and has a history of 1000 years.
According to the Shona tribe's belief; The spirits of their ancestors and gods continue to live in the stones. Artists reveal these spirits when they carve the stones.

Artist Biography:
Born in 1975 in the Mutoko region of Zimbabwe, he began sculpting in his rural home in Marondera. He later moved to Chitungwiza where he developed his career and joined the Cannon & Peterson art group. He developed his art on depictions of nature and human busts.
